Hannah Varnell is the founder of Bloodbath Studio, where she oversees the studio’s creative vision and long-term strategy, while also concepting, producing, and directing all original film work.
Grounded in the belief that fashion and cinema share a common language of world-building, Hannah has served as lead producer for Bloodbath Studio’s annual fashion shows since 2022—guiding each project from conceptual development through final runway and live production.
She actively cultivates partnerships as a means of redistributing resources, knowledge, and visibility — leveraging collective labor and shared infrastructure to create high-production-value platforms that remain accessible to independent filmmakers, designers, and creative professionals. Through this model, Bloodbath Studio has supported hundreds of artists, strengthened local creative economies, actively buildling pathways for experimentation, collaboration, and artistic growth.

NARRARTIVE ARCHITECTURE / DESIGNER
Navarr approaches each project produced by the studio with an architectural mindset - structuring the narrative flow, visual atmosphere, and spatial design to enhance the impact of fashion on screen and on the runway. Navarr created the brand FLAMER which has been showcased in consecutive runways and campaigns produced by Bloodbath Studio. Navarr aims to support each project with strong logistics, refined creative direction and a cohesive story telling vision for the studio.
BENJAMIN MEDINA
STUDIO AMBASSADOR / DESIGNER
Benjamin serves as the creative bridge between the studio and world outside. He combines his industry knowledge with cultural insight representing the studio’s vision across event partnership and community engagement. The Studio Ambassador ensures that every interaction reflects the studio’s values and identity.
Benjamin makes clothing to promote intersectional voices. He forms shapes within his fashion that reflect the unique identities that wear his provocative pieces.
MAIA vollbrecht
CREATIVE DIRECTOR / LEAD CURATOR
Maia is the lead Bloodbath Studio curator, guiding the conceptual and spatial curation of this year’s exhibit - Ananmesis. In addition to strategizing on how to invite and credit artists, Maia co-develops Bloodbath marketing strategy.
Maia works in close creative dialogue with featured artists, installation teams, and community organizers to ensure the physical space reflects curatorial intent with clarity, intention, and political resonance. Her curatorship emphasizes accessibility, collective seeing, and visual world-building—shaping environments where filming becomes encounter, fashion becomes language, and exhibition becomes shared cultural ritual.
MICHAEL ZUMAYA
PRODUCER / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Micheal is an independent filmmaker and director with a background rooted in indie film and collaborative, artist-driven production. Zumaya has played a critical role producing and Assistant Directing Veneration and Metanoia films, as well as the Metanoia runway show and the Anamnesis Gallery Showcase and live filming.
Since 2022, Michael has produced the Bloodbath Studio Livestream, ensuring designers, runway models, and designer teams got immediate access to their runway showcases.
CELICA FERNANDEZ
EDITOR / PHOTOGRAPHER
A multidisciplinary artist and creator, Celicas editorial practice centers collaboration and curiosity—approaching each project as living rather than a fixed structure. Whether working with documentary material, experimental film, or fashion media, she finds connective tissue between image, sound, and feeling, allowing stories to unfold with honesty.
